Chess Warriors was founded in 2021 with a singular purpose: to transform how chess is taught to the next generation. Our founder, Vinoth Raj, , has had a lifelong connection with chess.

Chess Warriors was founded in 2021 with a singular purpose: to transform how chess is taught to the next generation. Our founder, Vinoth Raj, , has had a lifelong connection with chess. He was introduced to the game at the age of 4 by his father — a moment that sparked a lasting passion. Over the years, that passion grew steadily, along with a deep interest in learning, teaching, and working with young minds. With experience across district competitions and national university representation, Vinoth brings both playing insight and real competitive exposure. At the same time, he recognized a gap in how chess was often taught — a lack of structure, consistency, and a clear path for improvement.
Chess Warriors was built to change that. With a focus on structured learning, guided practice, and continuous feedback, the goal is to provide students with a thoughtful and disciplined approach to learning chess — helping them grow with confidence both on and off the board.
